I am elated to announce, just in case your iPhone hasn’t
reminded you yet, today is the first day of Spring! It’s here, officially here.
The flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, and that hour of sleep we
skipped last week has proven worth it. Spring gives me a new energy, an urge to
wake up early and do something productive in the freshness of the day. Just
this morning, I caught the last bits of a beautiful sunrise. I wanted to stop
time. I wanted to be able to enjoy its radiance to the fullest, and not miss
any of it.
The same was true for my wedding. I wanted to stop time. I
wanted to be able to enjoy its radiance to the fullest and not miss any of it. Your
wedding day inevitably is one of those days. It’s like a beautiful sunrise,
with every passing moment one that you wish to remember forever. I challenge
you to make it one that your guests remember forever, too. When is the last
time you went to a wedding in the freshness of the day, when the flowers were
waking and the birds were chirping? Something about a brunch wedding excites my
appetite, and it will for your guests too! I mean, who doesn’t love a bubbling
mimosa or a warm glazed donut?

Hmm a mimos sounds so amazing right now. I remember drinking them on my wedding day while getting ready with all my bridesmaids. Ive never had them with sherbert and I cant wait to try it! Perfect kick off for spring.
